Architecture
The Architecture of Templetree Leisure was inspired by Polynesian/Balinese design - a style that fuses indoor and outdoor spaces to effectively marry architecture with nature
A team of experienced designers and engineers worked together to create the warm, intimate and tropical feel similar to that at the high-end beachside resorts in Indonesia. The sound of gushing water welcomes you as you enter this haven, replicating the sense of being close to a flowing river. Even the experience of driving in on gravel instead of on tarmac is softer, and more pleasant on the senses.
Seventy five percent of the property is landscaped with rolling lawns and rare tropical plants in a chemical-free garden. The buildings are light, open and airy, reducing the need for artificial temperature control, and adding value to it’s eco-friendly stature.
The stage has been positioned strategically, for viewing and access from anywhere on the property. The open-air Bar and Lounge, though tucked away, can be accessed easily from the dining halls and gardens. And the spaces, though separate, flow easily into one other.
The entire structure is made of steel, rendering it 100% recyclable. The wood used on the property is a combination of high-quality teak and rosewood that has been seasoned for over a hundred years - being recycled material originally used for construction during the British Raj. The thatched roofs are constructed from completely natural fibers and is bio-degradable.
Functionally, the space has been designed to seat 1200 people for a sit-down dining, with easy movement to and from the kitchen. The washrooms have been designed ergonomically with a separate outdoor hand-wash area. Care has been taken to ensure high levels of hygiene.
Aesthetically, functionally and ethically, Templetree leisure offers you a venue unmatched by any other in the country.
